Demo accounts and live accounts are not the same. Though they both accommodate trading in live markets with complete access to platform tools and features, the key difference is that traders on demo accounts use simulated funds while traders on live accounts have to deposit real money before they can make trades.

Therefore, demo accounts are considered risk-free while live accounts are not. At the same time, profits accumulated in demo accounts cannot be converted into real money, while profits made in live trading are real and can be kept by the trader after commissions.

Our demo accounts have access to all the same markets and price feeds a Classic, Premier and VIP account does. The only difference is that trading results from a Demo Account will not have any impact on your real finances. A demo account also does not have access to raw spreads, which is only available to VIP account holders on Alchemy Markets.
