Yesterday&#8217;s weekly open gap surely is a bullish one&#8230; right?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s dive into the technicals and fundamental factors to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fundamentals are Shaky, Technicals are Neutral-Bullish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From last week&#8217;s drop, QQQ has actually formed a <a href=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/education\/strategies\/hidden-bullish-divergence\/\">hidden bullish divergence<\/a>. While this hints at bullish continuation of the undeniably strong uptrend, the macro-economic conditions are shaky:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>US has once again suggested at a 100% Tariff on China.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Powell is speaking this week, and that alone is enough to make the markets nervous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If Powell even hints that the rate-cut path could slow down, yields could spike and crush tech sentiment in the short term. On the other hand, a dovish tone would likely trigger another squeeze in risk assets, and QQQ\u2019s RSI setup could fuel that move fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">QQQ 1H Chart Overview (For Weekly Outlook)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2051\" height=\"1344\" src=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-84.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15966\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-84.png 2051w, https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-84-300x197.png 300w, https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-84-1024x671.png 1024w, https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-84-768x503.png 768w, https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-84-1536x1007.png 1536w, https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-84-2048x1342.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2051px) 100vw, 2051px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From a structural view, QQQ\u2019s caught right between key levels. $603.85 is our most immediate resistance to conquer, while the $593.24\u2013$597.23 gap below is where the premarket is aiming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beneath that, $589.05 is the last line of defence, lose it, and we\u2019re likely sliding toward $580\u2013$582, where a further breakdown would indicate a trend shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If that happens, $555\u2013$560 becomes the price target (<a href=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/education\/strategies\/rising-wedge-pattern\/\">Rising wedge target<\/a>) and gap fill from August; which would be the worst-case scenario for bulls, but is not the base case for this analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technically, bias still leans slightly bullish, but we advise caution due to fundamental factors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hidden RSI divergence is intact, hinting at a bounce if the $593 gap holds.
