An ending diagonal takes the shape of a <a href=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/education\/strategies\/rising-wedge-pattern\/\">rising wedge<\/a> in traditional technical analysis. Within the ending diagonal, prices would rally in 5 waves. It appears wave (4) of ((5)) completed at the April 2025 low. Therefore, the rally since April is wave (5) of ((5)).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the rules within Elliott wave is that wave 3 cannot be the shortest wave between waves 1, 3, and 5. If we take the <a href=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/education\/indicators\/fibonacci-extensions\/\">Fibonacci extension<\/a> tool and measure the length of wave (3) and project it at the end of wave (4), we see a maximum level for (5) under the ending diagonal scenario is 57,577.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That may seem like quite a distance away, but this would be the maximum under the pattern. Each wave of the diagonal would subdivide as a zigzag or multiple zigzag pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, it is possible that DJI tops within the next couple of weeks in wave A of (5) or all of wave (5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once DJI breaks the upward sloping <a href=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/education\/guides\/support-and-resistance\/\">support trend line<\/a>, then we\u2019ll consider a major top in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bottom Line<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>DJI is nearing the end of a bullish wave.<\/strong> The current Elliott wave appears to be wave (5) of ((5)). We are uncertain if this is just wave A of (5) or all of wave (5). Either way, the <a href=\"https:\/\/alchemymarkets.com\/education\/indicators\/the-rsi-divergence-explained\/\">RSI divergence<\/a> suggests that momentum is slowing an a correction may be nearby.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dow Jones Elliott Wave forecast: RSI divergence and a mature Elliott wave count hints that a correction may be nearby.
